An insulated container, also known as an “insulated” or “ex-reefer”, is a refrigerated container in which the cooling unit has been replaced with a sandwich panel. As a result, this container maintains the same insulation value as a standard reefer container, making it highly suitable for transport or local storage. To protect the insulation, a steel plate is mounted, which also gives the container a sleek appearance.

Insulated containers are available in various sizes, including 10ft, 20ft, 40ft, and 45ft. Most are offered in standard and High Cube height, providing an extra 30 cm of loading height.
